Our Junior School Athletics Carnival held on Monday 26 October 2020 was once again one of the highlights on the sporting calendar.

Our Year 12 boys have been campaigning for their chosen charity, the Hobart Women's Shelter throughout the year with a variety of fundraising events, finishing with the Run-a-thon last term where as a group, the boys rain for 12 hours overnight on the War Memorial Oval.
The Middle School extension is an exciting new development for The Hutchins School as our Year 6 students become part of our Middle School in 2022.
On Monday 21 September the Middle and Senior School boys assembled in the Terence Butler Auditorium to film the Term 3 Virtual Concert.
On Friday 18 September, over 80 Senior School students and staff participated in Walk out of the Shadows and Freezin’ for a Reason.
The Follow Your Dreams Awards are a fantastic opportunity for Senior School students from Years 10–12 to apply for financial support from the School to pursue a dream they have for their future.
On Tuesday 9 September the Hutchins Athletics team competed in the Southern SATIS Athletics Carnival.
In 2020, the Year 12 group have chosen to support the Hobart Women’s Shelter and we will be fundraising and raising awareness for this charity through the Year 12 Run-a-thon.

Earlier this term, 25 students from Years 10–12 participated in a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) course at Hutchins.
